To Learn, to Grow, to Show and to Share

Welcome to the Victoria Cactus & Succulent Society! We are a group of friendly amateur hobbyists. Our club was founded in 1992 and currently has around 60 members. At our monthly meetings we learn about the culture and habitats of cacti and succulents from around the world, bring in our flowering specimens to display, and share information about how to grow and propagate these fascinating plants. We are affiliated with the Cactus & Succulent Society of America.

UPDATE – LOCATION CHANGE: we will be meeting at the Horseshoe Club of Victoria, 620 Kenneth Avenue, as of September 25, 2019!

Our meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month at First Memorial on Falaise Drive, with the exception of July, August and December. Meetings are entertaining as well as educational with speakers, slide shows and demonstrations. Our club is fortunate to have a small lending library with books available to members at each meeting. We always have lots of interesting plants on our raffle table, and plenty of refreshments. Visitors are always welcome – come check us out, see what we’re all about!
